How To Recover Files, Contacts, Photos From Iphone Using Icloud

If you deleted something in iCloud from a Mac, iPhone or iPad, you can restore everything within 30 days via iCloud.com!

When deleting files from a computer, they are moved to the trash, and from there you can restore or delete them forever. ICloud also has something similar, only the deleted files are not on the computer, iPhone or iPad, but on the Internet.

In a sense, this is even better, since files can be restored within 30 days, even if you empty the trash on your computer or erase them from your iPhone or iPad. This is great if you made a mistake or deleted something by accident, and later realized that you need it and restored it.

Note: If you are trying to access iCloud.com from your iPhone and iPad, you will be redirected to the iOS app. In order to get to icloud.com, you need to use a web browser on Mac or Windows.

How to recover deleted files from iCloud

When you delete a file from iCloud Drive on your computer, a message appears that the file has been moved to the trash and will be deleted from all other devices. When deleting from iPhone or iPad, iOS will inform that the file is permanently deleted.

  2. Go to icloud.com
  3. Enter your Apple ID (iCloud) Username and password.
